Enjoy some of the best playing and social facilities in the county at Duffield Rackets and Fitness. With floodlit tennis and pickleball courts outside, and first-class squash courts, plus a fully equipped gym, changing rooms, bar and lounge inside, there is no finer venue in Derbyshire.

Courts and booking

Members love playing on our all-weather outdoor courts. One is hard court and can be used for tennis or pickle ball, and six are synthetic grass. Floodlights are available on all courts except one.

Inside, we have are four championship-standard squash courts, including a glass-backed show court and a spectator gallery. Table tennis tables are also available for use.

All courts must be booked prior to playing via the MyCourts system. Non-members may use the ‘pay and play’ facility. Non-marking shoes on the squash courts please!

Fitness and gym

Our gym is small but well-equipped, offering the latest in functional fitness, strength and flexibility training, as well as cardio exercise. We also offer a range of fitness classes, including yoga, pilates and circuit training. Members may call on our club's affiliated personal trainers for support. To join the gym, arrange a tour or induction, e-mail the fitness manager at fitness@drf.club.

Changing rooms and showers are available to adult members but, due to safeguarding rules, whenever possible, members under the age of 18 should come to the club changed into their kit ready to play, see our Changing Room Policy for further details.

Club Opening Hours

Easy access and convenient opening hours

The club is open from 7 am until 10 pm Monday to Friday and 8 am to 9 pm on weekends. Entry to all facilities is by an electronic key fob system – a fob is given to all new members over ten years old.

Clubhouse, lounge and bar

Relax in our comfortable bar and lounge after your game or workout. It is an ideal place to meet with friends, watch popular sporting events screened on the TV or on our recently installed projector with its 120″ screen. The balcony, which overlooks the tennis courts and countryside beyond, offers a pleasant environment to take a chilled drink on a warm summer’s evening. Sundays: Closed

Clubhouse hire
