Duffield Rackets and Fitness is not just a sports venue; it is also a social hub for club members and welcomes guests from the village and wider community.

Our lounge is comfortable and casual, making it an ideal place not only to have a drink with playing partners but also to meet with friends and family. It is located next to the squash court balconies and viewing areas, so provides the perfect place to watch high quality squash or racketball in winter. On a warm summer’s evening, the balcony overlooking the tennis courts and countryside beyond, is an ideal spot to relax and enjoy a chilled glass of wine or beer.

The clubhouse has free wi-fi, so members are welcome to bring a laptop and hot-desk in the lounge – afternoons are generally a quiet time.

Low-cost social membership allows you to use the bar and clubhouse and attend our events even if you don’t want to play sport.

Social events

We hold regular social events, including quizzes, live music, and talks. You can also watch popular sporting events screened on the TV or on our recently installed 120″ screen. Clubhouse Hire

Situated at the centre of the village, the club offers an ideal location for an event, so if you are looking to hire a room for a meeting or a larger space for a party or other function, please contact us.

Bar

Managed and staffed by members, the bar offers a wide range of drinks which are competitively priced. Please contact us or speak to one of the bar managers if you would like to join the bar rota, which allows for a reduced membership rate.
